By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.
1. Availability and Access
Access to the Service requires registration. You need a compatible device and an internet connection meeting minimum technical requirements. You may only access the Service via one (1) digital device at any given time.
2. License and Access
We grant you a limited license to access and make personal use of the Website, but not to download, modify, or redistribute it. Commercial use, resale, data mining, and framing are prohibited. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, visit, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
3. Registration
You must provide your name, a valid email address, age verification, and a password during registration. You must promptly update any information as necessary to ensure your account remains complete and accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Reviews, Comments, Communications, and Other Content
Content you submit must not be illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, or infringing of intellectual property rights. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in any media worldwide.
5. Modifications
We may modify these Terms and our service offerings at any time in our sole discretion without prior notice to you. We encourage you to check the Website frequently for updates. 6. Privacy and Acceptable Use
Our Privacy Policy governs your personal information. You must be at least 19 years old, or the age of majority in your home province, state, or jurisdiction, to use the Service. Unlawful use of the Service is prohibited.
7. Communication Preferences
You consent to receive electronic communications from us, including account notices and transactional emails. Newsletters and promotional content require your separate consent, which you may modify by contacting us at hello@stories.stream.
8. Payment Terms
Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are applied at checkout. We use third-party payment processors, and by making a purchase you are also bound by the terms of the relevant payment processor. Payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods.
9. Responsibility for Minors
Users who have reached 19 years of age (or local age of majority) may authorize access by a minor. Parents and guardians are fully responsible for: (a) the online conduct of such minor; and (b) controlling the minor's access to and use of the Service.
10. Mature Content
Content on the Service may include violence, sexual material, and mature themes. We have no liability to you or anyone who uses the Service for the type of content accessed.
11. Content Suppliers
Third-party content suppliers are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them directly against you.
12. Third-Party Software
The Service incorporates licensed third-party software, which is subject to the restrictions of its original owners. We do not assume any responsibility or liability for your use of such third-party software.
13. Third-Party Platforms
Accessing the Service through external platforms (such as social networks or digital storefronts) requires that you also accept their terms. We do not assume any responsibility or liability for your use of such third-party platforms.
14. Copyright
All content on the Service is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. The compilation of content on the Service is the exclusive property of Stories.stream Inc.
15. Copyright and Other Legal Rights Complaints

16. Content Usage Restrictions
You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, download, translate, broadcast, publicly display, sell, transmit, retransmit, license, sub-license, publish, or modify any part of the Service or its content. Violations may result in account termination or legal action.
17. Links
Linking to our homepage is permitted provided the link does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement. Embedding the Service or its content within a video player or within other content is strictly prohibited. We are not responsible for the content of any linked third-party sites.
18. Trademarks
Stories.stream trademarks are protected. Use of our trademarks is authorized only as required for you to use the Service and view the content in accordance with these Terms.
19. Software
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, no-fee, revocable license to install and use one copy of the executable code of any software we provide on each of your digital devices. You may not rent, lease, reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify such software.
20. Suspension and Cancellation
We may restrict, block, suspend, or cancel any or all of your use of the Website, the Service, or your account if you fail to comply in full with any of these Terms. Cancellation does not eliminate your obligation to pay any fees incurred prior to cancellation.
21. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against all claims, liability, losses, actions, proceedings, suits, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or any infringement of intellectual property rights.
22. No Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We expressly disclaim any and all representations, warranties, and conditions, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no guarantees regarding performance, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted access.
23. Further Limitations of Liability
In no event shall the Company be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages under any circumstances, including negligence. This applies to service unavailability, content issues, or third-party conduct.
24. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by acts of God, disease, terrorism, natural disasters, government orders, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
25. Arbitration
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration before a single arbitrator in accordance with the Arbitration Act of British Columbia. Arbitration shall take place in Vancouver, British Columbia.
26. General
- Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Jurisdiction belongs to the courts of British Columbia in Vancouver.
- Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, partnership, or joint venture between the parties.
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies posted on the Website constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them freely.
